• Ensure the dissemination and implementation of all policies and procedures of PHCC and maintain quality assurance techniques to ensure safety, legal, and ethical practices.
• Provide guidance & directions for assigned pharmacy supply management staff regarding day- to-day work and assess annual performance evaluation & competency for assigned staff.
• Ensure safe supply of pharmaceuticals to HC pharmacies according to the general rules of pharmacy which consider (availability — quantity — quality — safety — time — validity — cost — rational use — pharmacovigilance etc.)
• Monitoring strategic stocks of vaccines and ensure their availability and validity
• Recalling of items with manufacturing problems or WHO withdrawal
• Keep the services ongoing as the HCs rules and regulations for the best pharmaceutical care.
• Updating the arrival of new medication with its unit price and item profile according to Pharmacy & Therapeutic Committee decision to all medical staff.
Skills Required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and strong collaboration/relationship building skills
• Essential project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, etc.)
• Ability to achieve results through others, and effective time management
• Knowledge of cerner medication system, oracle or medication warehousing system.
• Working knowledge of logistic software system (ERP)
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
•A relevant supply chain management certification is an advantage.
Experience & Knowledge Required
• Minimum of 7 years in a pharmaceutical company dealing with medication registration, storage, distribution and dispensing.
• Expert knowledge and developmental skill in pharmacy & therapeutics supply function.
