Skills and Competencies
Minimum 10 years’ post‐graduate experience with experience in major infrastructure and drainage projects. Preference will be given to those with site supervision experience.
Must have worked on a project with RCC/GRP/HDPE pipelines
Knowledge of deep shaft excavation and International Codes and Specifications.
Should have working knowledge of QCS 2014
Conversant with the clash detection and resolution process for underground utilities
Knowledge and experience of quality, health and safety, & environmental management systems related to infrastructure Projects
Knowledge of international codes and Specification of construction an experience in site supervision is essential
Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary Projects
Appropriate knowledge of Project Management / engineering procedures
Effective in building good working relationships within complex organisational structures, both internally and with various Project stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
• Project Supervision to ensure and review engineering compliance
• Liaise with various internal teams and external stakeholders to effectively manage various Projects
• Responsible for specific engineering Project delivery
Provide support primarily to the Project Manager where required on engineering matters
Qualifications & Criteria
Mandatory Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University in an appropriate field such as, Project Management or Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken
• Driver's Licence
Desirable requirements
• Evidence of suitable professional qualification CEng or equivalent is preferable
• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Arabic language skills
• Experience of working in Qatar and / or the Gulf region
