The duties to be performed by the Skilled Technician / Mechanic shall include but not limited to the following: b) Ensure efficient and effective maintenance services of all Generator sets (Including servicing, troubleshooting, fault finding and repairs) to ensure the safety, reliability and operational effectiveness of all generators and control systems in compliance with the KM requirements practices and procedures. c) Carry out Service, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of Gensets. d) Ensure that all generators and control systems are kept in good order and are regularly inspected and maintained in accordance with KM health and safety requirements and are fully compliant with KM Procedure. e) Daily Inspection of generators to identify faults, maintain, service, replace parts and repair of generators as directed in accordance with the manufacturer recommendations &amp; schedule and KM instructions and keep records. f) Attend Emergency/Program call out services for generator connection at various locations across Qatar g) Perform site inspection when required. h) Working beyond official hours as and when required. i) Carry out any other duties as assigned by KAHRAMAA Diesel unit (Supervisor/Foreman). j) Perform all planned Preventative Maintenance (Electrical and Mechanical) of all KAHRAMAA Generator sets. k) Prepare reports, maintain records, and requisition supplies and spare parts. l) Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown. m) Generator connection (Cable termination) at Generator end and the FP/MVP/consumer breaker and at various sites across Qatar when required. n) Arrange spare parts for the Genset Service, Maintenance, Repair, and overhauling. o) Maintaining records of parts inventory. p) Maintaining Maintenance Records.
